Program Policies & Expectations
Purpose of These Policies
Spark Life Tech Training is designed to prepare trainees for real-world workforce environments. The following policies outline expectations, responsibilities, and standards to ensure program quality, fairness, and accountability.
These policies apply to all trainees, regardless of funding source.
Attendance & Progress Policy
Trainees are expected to:
Maintain consistent progress in online instruction
Complete required coursework within the program timeline
Participate in scheduled hands-on training when assigned
Because this is a structured workforce program, extended inactivity or failure to meet progress requirements may result in delayed field training or program withdrawal.
Completion Requirements
To successfully complete a program, trainees must:
Complete all required instructional modules
Pass required assessments and certification exams
Meet attendance and participation standards
Successfully complete hands-on field training
Certificates are issued only after all completion requirements are verified.
Tools & Equipment Policy
Some programs include a professional tool kit.
To ensure accountability:
Tools are issued after required program milestones are met, including payment plan requirements where applicable
WIOA-funded trainees receive tools according to funding guidelines
Tools must be used responsibly and for training purposes
Replacement tools due to loss or misuse are the responsibility of the trainee.
Tuition, Payments & No Refund Policy
Spark Life Tech Training programs require a financial commitment to ensure program quality, instructional integrity, and administrative support.
Tuition & Payments
All tuition, fees, and payment plan terms are disclosed prior to enrollment
Payment plans must remain current to maintain program access
Failure to remain current may result in suspension or removal from the program
No Refund Policy
Because Spark Life Tech Training provides immediate access to digital instructional content, program materials, administrative services, and reserved training capacity:
All tuition and fees are non-refundable once program access has been granted.
This applies to:
Full-pay enrollments
Payment plan enrollments
Withdrawals, dismissals, or non-completion
Funding delays, denials, or changes
No exceptions are made based on funding outcomes, personal circumstances, or program withdrawal.
Funding & WIOA Policy
WIOA funding is administered by state and local workforce boards
Funding approval is not guaranteed
Spark Life Tech Training does not control funding decisions or timelines
Trainees remain responsible for program participation regardless of funding outcome
All funding-related responsibilities are explained during intake.
Code of Conduct
Trainees are expected to:
Communicate professionally and respectfully
Follow safety protocols at all times
Respect instructors, mentors, staff, and peers
Maintain appropriate behavior in online and in-person environments
Harassment, unsafe conduct, or repeated violations may result in disciplinary action or removal from the program.
Grievance Policy
Spark Life Tech Training is committed to fair and respectful resolution of concerns.
Trainees may submit grievances related to:
Program delivery
Policy interpretation
Conduct concerns
Grievances must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed in a timely manner. Retaliation for submitting a grievance is not permitted.
Policy Acknowledgment
By enrolling in a Spark Life Tech Training program, trainees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these policies.
