Program Policies & Expectations

Purpose of These Policies

Spark Life Tech Training is designed to prepare trainees for real-world workforce environments. The following policies outline expectations, responsibilities, and standards to ensure program quality, fairness, and accountability.

These policies apply to all trainees, regardless of funding source.

Attendance & Progress Policy

Trainees are expected to:

  • Maintain consistent progress in online instruction

  • Complete required coursework within the program timeline

  • Participate in scheduled hands-on training when assigned

Because this is a structured workforce program, extended inactivity or failure to meet progress requirements may result in delayed field training or program withdrawal.

Completion Requirements

To successfully complete a program, trainees must:

  • Complete all required instructional modules

  • Pass required assessments and certification exams

  • Meet attendance and participation standards

  • Successfully complete hands-on field training

Certificates are issued only after all completion requirements are verified.

Tools & Equipment Policy

Some programs include a professional tool kit.

To ensure accountability:

  • Tools are issued after required program milestones are met, including payment plan requirements where applicable

  • WIOA-funded trainees receive tools according to funding guidelines

  • Tools must be used responsibly and for training purposes

Replacement tools due to loss or misuse are the responsibility of the trainee.

Tuition, Payments & No Refund Policy

Spark Life Tech Training programs require a financial commitment to ensure program quality, instructional integrity, and administrative support.

Tuition & Payments

  • All tuition, fees, and payment plan terms are disclosed prior to enrollment

  • Payment plans must remain current to maintain program access

  • Failure to remain current may result in suspension or removal from the program

No Refund Policy

Because Spark Life Tech Training provides immediate access to digital instructional content, program materials, administrative services, and reserved training capacity:

All tuition and fees are non-refundable once program access has been granted.

This applies to:

  • Full-pay enrollments

  • Payment plan enrollments

  • Withdrawals, dismissals, or non-completion

  • Funding delays, denials, or changes

No exceptions are made based on funding outcomes, personal circumstances, or program withdrawal.

Funding & WIOA Policy

  • WIOA funding is administered by state and local workforce boards

  • Funding approval is not guaranteed

  • Spark Life Tech Training does not control funding decisions or timelines

  • Trainees remain responsible for program participation regardless of funding outcome

All funding-related responsibilities are explained during intake.

Code of Conduct

Trainees are expected to:

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully

  • Follow safety protocols at all times

  • Respect instructors, mentors, staff, and peers

  • Maintain appropriate behavior in online and in-person environments

Harassment, unsafe conduct, or repeated violations may result in disciplinary action or removal from the program.

Grievance Policy

Spark Life Tech Training is committed to fair and respectful resolution of concerns.

Trainees may submit grievances related to:

  • Program delivery

  • Policy interpretation

  • Conduct concerns

Grievances must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed in a timely manner. Retaliation for submitting a grievance is not permitted.

Policy Acknowledgment

By enrolling in a Spark Life Tech Training program, trainees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these policies.

Policies are subject to update as program requirements evolve.
