What does the STEM program cost?

There is no tuition cost to participate in Spark Life Tech Training’s STEM program.

However, participation requires a mandatory donation to our sister nonprofit organization, Spark Life Discover U Foundation, which supports program materials, resources, staffing, and community-based learning initiatives.

Donations directly support the sustainability and impact of the STEM program and are required for participation.

📌 Donations are made to the nonprofit foundation and are separate from Spark Life Tech Training tuition.

What is the Spark Tech Network?

The Spark Tech Network is the professional community for active trainees and alumni, providing continued connection, updates, and optional opportunities after program completion.

How much does the program cost?

The HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician Program costs:

  • Program Tuition: $1,295

  • Professional Tool Kit: $600

Payment options may include:

  • Full payment

  • Monthly payment plans

  • WIOA funding (where approved)

  • Scholarships (limited availability)

All costs and payment terms are disclosed prior to enrollment.

What certifications will I earn?

Certifications may include:

  • Preventive Maintenance Technician Certificate

  • EPA 608 (Universal)

  • OSHA 10 Certificate

  • Forklift Operator Safety Certificate

  • First Aid/CPR Certificate

  • Customer Service & Workplace Communication Certificate

All certifications are earned upon successful completion.

Do you offer WIOA funding?

Spark Life Tech Training is currently in the process of WIOA acceptance. Funding availability varies by state and local workforce board and is not guaranteed.

Who is Spark Life Tech Training for?

Our programs are designed for adults seeking entry into the skilled trades, including career changers and individuals re-entering the workforce. No prior HVAC experience is required.

How long is the HVAC program?

The HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician Program is 12 weeks and includes 140 instructional hours and 40 hands on field training hours.

Is the program online or in person?

The program includes online instruction combined with hands-on field training coordinated locally. Online coursework must be completed before field training begins.

How do I apply?

What is your refund policy?

All tuition and fees are non-refundable once program access has been granted, including for withdrawals, non-completion, or funding changes.
